A simple way to meet a 20 KB upload limit.
When an upload field says the image must be 20 KB or less, a normal “compress” button is not always enough. This tool gives you a target, searches for suitable JPG settings, and shows the final size before you download it.
How to compress a photo to 20 KB
- Upload a JPG, PNG, WEBP, or another image your browser can read.
- Leave the target at 20 KB, or change it to the limit shown on your form.
- Click Compress image and wait for the result card.
- Download the JPG and use that file for the upload.
20 KB is a maximum, not a visual-quality promise
At this size, some photos may lose visible detail, especially when the original is large or busy. The tool reports the output dimensions so you can decide whether the result is still suitable for the form.
Check the other requirements too
Many forms specify both a maximum file size and an allowed width, height, or aspect ratio. This tool preserves proportions but does not know the rules of a particular portal. Always compare the downloaded file with the instructions before submitting it.
